The Eco Committee have worked hard and the school has now achieved the green flag award!!

We have an experiment in the school just now to investigate how quickly litter decomposes.  The eco committee picked litter from the school grounds and placed these in two containers (man made materials and natural materials).  We will watch this and see which one decomposes faster!

Our application for an orchard has been accepted so we will be receiving 105 fruit trees in March!  These will be planted beside the pitch, near the old janitor's house.  We will be looking for volunteers nearer the time to help with the planting. The eco committee are already excited about the recipes we will make from our own fruit trees!
